Canadian Rapper VITAL released his song and accompanying visuals this last week for his latest track "Money", Produced by Premise on the Beat.
The video, a classic visual directed by Forty Diamonds (the second collaboration of the two), is in VITAL's words "inspired by peers of mine with poor money management and also YouTube videos like Mr. Beast."
"I feel the song is an ironic take on the value of money as many people with lots of it, let it blind their core values" said the Winnipeg-based rising star. "Money is the root of all evil yet everybody is wanting more."
The rapper has generated quite an amount of buzz in Winnipeg's music scene in recent months, first entering the scene with his "VITAL Freestyle 00_" series, followed by a small catalogue of releases working alongside his impressive live performances this year, opening for the likes of DAX, Tech N9ne, BBNO$, and NLE Choppa, in addition to having headlined his own local shows as well.
When asked what the future has in store, VITAL expressed a desire to have his current releases mature alongside him into these next phases of his career. His debut project "Betterment. No Settling." is rumored to be releasing this spring.
