Bassjackers took to the stage Saturday night in Winnipeg, MB at Exchange Event Centre. The show, free with RSVP before 10:30, was opened by Winnipeg based Project NRG, Kratom, and Running With Scissors respectively.
The place was bumpin' leading up to Bassjackers set which began around 12:30, and that vibe only amplified as the night went on. He worked the crowd, interacted, built tension and released it in a timely manner - and one of my favorite part of the night, even lit of the stage with flashlights at one point. No matter how many times I see that, I'll never think its not awesome.
Bassjackers' brief tour in Canada featured stops in Winnipeg and Edmonton with the presenting sponsor being Nightshift Ent., and he continues his tour on February 3 in North Dallas, Texas before heading to New York.
